In this research, a rolling simulation system based on novel meshless solution procedure is upgraded considering casting defects in the material model. The improved model can predict final stage of after multi-pass rolling. casted steel billet that enters mill arrives with defects. Those may be porosity due to shrinkage and cavity or micro-cracks near surface hot tearing. work, considered main defect source since it easily determined experimentally. damage theory develops damaged stiffness matrix scalar value. value obtained at different compression stages our thermo-mechanical experiments using samples from continuous contain values each sample by accurately measuring its density Archimedes’ technique.
